In two recent articles on Corporate Growth, Capital Style, we featured videos from the first keynote address at this year’s Mid-Atlantic Growth Conference. The keynote address was delivered by Kenneth Feld, the CEO of global entertainment giant, Feld Entertainment.
In the first video in the series, Mr. Feld discussed why the company has remained a private company, and why they continue to keep many functions in-house instead of outsourcing. In the second video in the series, Mr. Feld shared the story of the creation of Disney on Ice, which helped save a failing acquisition that could have greatly and negatively impacted the company long term.
In this, the third and final video from Mr. Feld’s keynote, he shares another acquisition story – the acquisition of Monster Jam from LiveNation. Mr. Feld also discusses how the company has transitioned from being just an entertainment company, into being a logistics company.
