This year’s Mid-Atlantic Growth Conference descended on Tysons Corner, Virginia on March 31, and – with it – came the region’s leading business minds, growth professionals and corporate executives. Much like previous years, these individuals came together for the purpose of sharing corporate growth best practices, networking and identifying new and exciting ways for them to grow their businesses.
This year’s conference featured multiple exciting keynote presentations, panel discussions and the always eagerly-anticipated technology showcases, which include presentations from some of the region’s most innovative and rapidly-growing technology companies.
The event kicked-off with a breakfast keynote presentation by a true giant in the National Capital region’s business community – Kenneth Feld, the CEO of Feld Entertainment.
A true family business that is currently in its third generation of Feld leadership, Feld Entertainment brings spectacular live entertainment to audiences across the globe. Today, Feld brands – which include Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice!, Doodlebops Live!, Disney Live!, Monster Jam, International Hot Rod Association, and AMA Supercross Championship – enthrall more than 30 million people in 75 countries on six continents, with as many as 5,000 shows each year.
During his keynote presentation, Mr. Feld discussed the history of his company, the unique challenges of running a live entertainment giant, why they have never taken the company public and how one of the company’s most successful productions came about – at least partially – by accident.
Here is the first video from Mr. Feld’s presentation. Be sure to check back in the coming weeks for even more exciting video content from this year’s Mid-Atlantic Growth Conference, including the rest of Mr. Feld’s speech:
