Each year, the National Capital Chapter of ACG recognizes the region’s companies and business leaders that have personified excellence in corporate growth and deal-making though their Corporate Growth Awards.

The awards are presented annually at the end of April during a star-studded, black tie gala held at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner and attended by the region’s best and brightest business minds.

With the gala fast approaching, the judges have met, reviewed nominations and have selected the following business leaders and private enterprises as finalists for the 2014 Corporate Growth Awards. The finalists are:

Strategic Deal of the Year (Under $100M): Sale of ASM Research Inc. to Accenture Federal Services; JackBe Acquisition by Software AG; Vistronix Acquisition of NetCentric Technology

Strategic Deal of the Year (Over $100M): CACI International Inc. acquisition of Six3 Systems; Rockwell Collins Acquisition of ARINC; Sale of Sourcefire to Cisco Systems

Private Equity Deal of the Year (Add-On): A-T Solutions acquisition of GreenLine Systems; Integrated Mission Solutions acquisition of Michael Baker Corporation; Sale of Tactical Micro, Inc. (affiliated with Relativity Capital) to Secure Communication Systems

Private Equity Deal of the Year (Platform Acquisition): Gladstone’s Acquisition of Behrens Manufacturing, LLC; Hovde Private Equity Advisors LLC sponsorship of Jefferson Bancorp and Carrollton Bancorp Merger; the Halifax Buyout of Envision Pharma Group
