The National Capital Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) has announced the conference program for the 20th Annual Mid-Atlantic Growth Conference and DealSource, which will take place from March 4-5, 2014 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

Leonsis has been previously honored as Washington’s Businessman of the Year, a Washingtonian of the Year, one of the 20 most influential people in sports, and one of the top 10 entrepreneurs of the year.

She remains the last connection between the publication and her family following its sale to Amazon.com founder and chief executive, Jeffrey P. Bezos, in October. Weymouth will share her experience running the publication, discuss the evolving media landscape and analyze the challenges facing media outlets today.

Forkas is also the founder of Hopecam, Inc. – a charity that connects homebound children who are undergoing treatment for cancer, with their friends at school using web cam technology. A serial entrepreneur, Forkas is a nationally-known business leader with deep roots in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
