Many CEOs and business leaders worry about cyber security in this web 2.0 world. With the explosive popularity of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, as well as new tools launching on a daily basis, securing a company’s network and data is not a simple task.

Beyond protecting the network and data, a company must focus on protecting its brand from a cyber attack. Security breaches cause some of the highest financial losses for companies. But while the financial losses may be high, companies also have to consider the brand and reputation losses that can cause irreparable damage following a breach.

So, who better to talk with our members about this important subject than the author of Security in a Web 2.0+ World, Carlos Solari. In addition to being an author and the current VP of Cyber Technology at CSC, he previously served as CIO at the Executive Office of the President. In this role, Solari developed and implemented the strategy and enterprise architecture for a major systems renovation covering all aspects of the enterprise computing serving the White House and its supporting offices.

Please join us this Friday (Sept. 17) as Solari speaks at our Monthly Meeting at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. To register, please click here.
