A widely-recognized public speaker, thought leader, and the author of the hugely popular business book, “Get Off the Bench,” Mr. Fuchs’ resume is unparalleled in business and public service. Mr. Fuchs has more than 30 years of executive leadership and national security experience leading companies and organizations ranging in size from 100M to more than 1.5B in annual revenue.

Under very challenging market conditions, Mr. Fuchs has led the transformation of MacB from a once predominantly U.S. Air Force Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contractor to a high-end engineering services, cybersecurity, and product solutions company.
Under his direction, MacB leveraged three strategic acquisitions and focused organic growth to replace 80 percent of the company’s revenue. Through the company’s strategic acquisitions, they’ve expanded MacB’s capability portfolio and added several new customers.

In fact, the company recently announced $200 million in classified contract wins for federal government customers. As Washington Exec reports, these contracts will result in MacB taking on the responsibility of, “operations and engineering, prototyping, systems development, testing and training of specialized hardware, software and methodologies used worldwide.”

This contract win comes on the heels of another previous contract award for MacB. According to a press release from the company in June, MacB was awarded an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract to provide Engineering, Technical and Assessment Support (ETAS) for the National Assessment Group (NAG). The single award IDIQ is for five years with a total ceiling value of $49 million.

Prior to joining MacB in 2011, Mr. Fuchs began his career in public service. He was recruited by the CIA where he would spend a decade as an operations and technical officer. He then went on to sales and executive positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Oracle, and Northrop Grumman. He was also the President and CEO of Northrop Grumman TASC and led that unit to cross the $1B revenue threshold in 2005.
